“Under the banner of COH, we brought solar generators and satellite communications,” said Minyard, noting they brought a solar generator to Hope Lodge, a hotel operated by the Puerto Rican branch of the American Cancer Society for people being treated for cancer at various hospitals on the island.

The Coalition of Hope Foundation (COH) and its partner Navillus Contracting along with over one hundred volunteers provided three hot meals per day, potable drinking water, hot showers, Citimed urgent care health services, the only FEMA full assistance center, and emotional support in the largest relief effort that served across all of the Florida Keys.

As a part of local efforts within California, the COH recently donated two mobile homes to the Green Oak Ministries in Vista California to be used as emergency shelter facilities for women and children at risk.
